The Coordinator at NaDMA, Dr. Terrence Walters has dismissed claims of recent eruption at the Kick-em-Jenny volcano.
He made this statement while responding to a question during a press briefing held by the agency today, which was aimed at updating the media on pertinent information regarding both the volcano and the recent oil spill in neighboring Trinidad and Tobago.
Reports from the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Center (UWI SRC) indicated that on the 9th of this month heightened seismic activity at the Kick’-em-Jenny Submarine Volcano.
Dr. Walters is emphasizing the importance of relying on information from the official source, NADMA, for accurate and reliable information.
Dr. Walters says at this time activities at kick-em-jenny have returned to normal levels.
