PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Mamma Cannes Water System that due to maintenance work on the treatment plant, their water supply will be interrupted from 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 20th, 2022 to 10 p.m. on Thursday July 21st, 2022.
The Mamma Cannes Water System serves consumers in Petit Esperance, Retreat, Canal, Mt. Annon, Crochu, Felix Park, Mamma Cannes, Grand Bacolet, Hope, Hope City and surrounding communities.
Consumers are encouraged to collect and store water in clean covered containers prior to the interruption in supply taking into consideration the immediate needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the network will be reopened at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday July 21st, 2022, consumers in elevated areas may receive their supply within two (2) hours thereafter.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
