When The National Democratic Congress holds it 2021 Convention, expectations are there’ll be a new Leader of the organization, a position that has remained in abeyance since the resignation of Franka Alexis Bernadine.
This is one of the high points of the party’s annual conference when delegates meet on Sunday.
Based on COVID circumstances, the activity will be held virtually.
Making a bid for the Leadership is Terry Forrester, Phillip Telesford and Dickon Mitchell.
Forrester says in winning the leadership he will get down to the task of oiling the party machinery for the next general elections.
Phillip Telesford says he brings a wealth of experience to the table having worked in the financial sector and his leadership in this regard will be an asset is shaping the country’s investor capabilities.
He says investing in the enhancement of the lives of ordinary people can make a great difference in the country’s development.
Phillip Telesford says he’s ready for the task of leadership.
We tried contacting Dickon Mitchell for a comment on his expectation in the NDC leadership race but he’s been engaged in several meetings today on a rather busy schedule and our efforts have proven futile.
