NDC’S Deputy Political Leader, Adrian Thomas, says Franka Bernadine, who resigned yesterday from being Leader of the party, has served the political organization well over the years and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.

Making the announcement early evening yesterday through a video statement on the party’s Facebook page, Bernadine claimed that she was taking her exit from the party because of medical reasons.

Franka Bernadine also noted giving up being the caretaker for the South East St. George constituency.

She gave the assurance that the NDC will continue to be her choice of political support.

The NDC Deputy Political Leader, Adrian Thomas, is pleased that while she’s moved away from key positions, she still throws her unwavering support behind the party.

Thomas was speaking at an NDC News Conference this morning referring to Bernadine’s resignation.

Thomas tells the resigned NDC Political leader thanks for her contribution, even as it concerns her stewardship during her tenure as Education Minister. He’s looking forward to working with her in the future.

General Secretary, Glen Noel, meantime, says the organization is alive.  Noel labels the NDC as being resilient, with the ability to survive.
