The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is concentrating putting things into perspective, with the party aiming for its 2021 Convention at the end of the month.
With the onset of the COVID pandemic and Grenada’s fight in controlling the spread of the first serious wave of infection, NDC has decided to stage its Convention virtually.
General Secretary, Glen Noel, says momentum is building and the organization is rejuvenated, with its sights firmly focused on the future, with a leadership team that’s appealing.
Noel says the candidates lining themselves up for key positions within the organizational framework were part of a unique engagement with the party’s membership recently.
Noel says over the immediate past period NDC had formulated a vibrant programme of inclusion attracting what he termed “new blood and energy” with some experience hands.
Unlike Conventions of the organization in the past, the 2021 affair will be conducted on the virtual platform, which Noel says is adjusting to the times, also considering the COVID situation.
