The National Democratic Congress (NDC) makes an appeal for the Grenada Government to start thinking seriously about the CARICOM Regional Commission Report on the subject of marijuana.
NDC Leader, Franka Alexis-Bernadine, at a News Conference today, noted that the party will be bringing the issue to the forefront in conversation with the Nation’s youth in the next ten days.
She believes it’s time to take a look at the recommendations in the Commission’s report and implement action.
Alexis-Bernadine appeals to the government to adopt the report and bring the issue of marijuana decriminalization at the heart of today’s developmental discussions.
NDC shows satisfaction with the contents of the report, concerning marijuana use for medicinal purposes, and, in smaller quantities for personal and religious circumstances.
