New positive covid cases here dip into the two-figure category as shown in the latest Ministry of Health report.
There have been 83 new positive cases, which bring to 1,795 the total of active cases, a reduction of 141 from the previous update.
It, however, brings to 5,005, the number of confirmed cases since the virus was first detected here March last year.
As it relates to the number of deaths, there have been an additional 10 over the last update period, accounting in total for 130 persons who have so far lost their lives due to the Coronavirus.
As it relates to the vaccination programme, 141 more individuals have received the second dose of vaccine, which brings the number to 23, 144 and an additional 99 individuals received the first dose accounting overall for 34,023.
