New Seven-Day Covid-19 Regulations

COVID-19 REGULATIONS FOR the ensuing 7-day period have been released and daily curfew time has been lifted to a further two hours.

In view of the new period, the regulations state that a curfew is imposed beginning 7am on the 30th day of June, 2020, ending at 7am on the 7th day of July, 2020.

During this period every person shall remain confined to their place of residence (inclusive of their yard space) to avoid contact outside of their household, except as provided in the Regulations or as may be authorized in writing by the

Commissioner of Police, acting on the direction of the Grenada Cabinet.

It says freedom of movement may be exercised from 5 o’clock in the morning to 11pm.

Again, it states that every person shall, whenever outside of his or her place of residence, wear a mask or suitable covering over nose and mouth.

The regulation on physical distancing still applies.

As it relates to social activities, it’s stipulated that no person shall host or attend any social activity of any description hosting more than twenty persons.
