NO CHARGES YET IN ST. PATRICK HOMICIDE

Looking at the homicide incident in St. Patrick over the Whitsuntide weekend, itโ€™s been brought to our attention that charges are still to be laid.

Up to Newstime, weโ€™ve not been informed any differently.

The Whitsuntide holiday turned sour for a River Sallee, St. Patrick family on account of the Nationโ€™s latest homicide.

A 36-year-old man Knoxford Smith, a construction worker, tragically lost his life.

According to reports, Smith died on account an injury to his neck from a sharp instrument.

The assailant and the victim are said to be relatives.

We understand Knoxford was attacked at his home, following an altercation earlier the same day Sunday, with a relative of the same address.

His name has not yet been made known.

According to the RGPF, one male is in custody assisting with investigations.
