Looking at the homicide incident in St. Patrick over the Whitsuntide weekend, it’s been brought to our attention that charges are still to be laid.

Up to Newstime, we’ve not been informed any differently.

The Whitsuntide holiday turned sour for a River Sallee, St. Patrick family on account of the Nation’s latest homicide.

A 36-year-old man Knoxford Smith, a construction worker, tragically lost his life.

According to reports, Smith died on account an injury to his neck from a sharp instrument.

The assailant and the victim are said to be relatives.

We understand Knoxford was attacked at his home, following an altercation earlier the same day Sunday, with a relative of the same address.

His name has not yet been made known.
