Grenada is again in for another “no movement” lockdown week-end, the fourth of its kind, from 5pm to 5am Monday, 4th October, 2021.
It’s within the body of Emergency regulations, designed to control the spike in COVID-19 cases here.
Health officials say it’s paying off dividends, especially as it concerns the vaccination and testing caravans throughout the country during the period. The “no movement” period only allows for persons who have to visit Ministry of Health “pop-up” sites to get tested or vaccinated.
Meanwhile, Clinician, Dr. Dolland Noel, is warning individuals to stay away from what he labels the “google doctors” and seek pertinent information from medical professionals who have the know-how in dealing with the COVID problem.
Dr. Noel says while it is imperative that citizens adhere to the protocols as a preventative measure, vaccination is the best bet.
