One-Time Grenada Parliamentarian, Winston Whyte, who was a member the Eric Matthew Regime also as a Minister of Youth and Sports, will be laid to rest in St. Patrick tomorrow.
Winston Whyte who was ailing for some time died at the Princess Alice Hospital on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
He’ll be sent off to the Great Beyond with an Official funeral.
This is according to a release by the Grenada Government, which stated that Mr. Winston Whyte, will be honoured for the contributions he has made.
Mr. Whyte is considered to have been a statesman, and according to the release, his contributions to Grenadian politics, both pre and post-independence, has left an indelible mark on the minds of the Nation’s citizens..
The official funeral for Mr. Whyte will be held tomorrow March 19, 2024, at the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church.
Tributes begin at noon, and the funeral service and mass will begin 2pm.
Members of the public were invited to join in signing condolence books today to express heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Winston Whyte.
