At least seven teams are expected to participate in the first annual athletic sports meet, put on by an entertainment company Mid Western Promotions at the Cuthbert Peters Park in St. John this Saturday.
The sporting activity is open for both male and female competitors, and will see some forty-two track events being run off.
The events will include relays, 100m, and 200m races.
Manager at Midwestern promotions Malcolm Patterson says the event is designed for participants to display their best performance in athletics.
