Representative of The Pan American Health Organization are on a mission in Grenada evaluating the country’s National Immunization Programme.
PAHO is said to have congratulated the Ministry of Health on the proactive decision to evaluate the Programme.
The initiative is to ensure the immunization programme continues to meet the needs of all Grenadians throughout their lifetime.
The outcomes of the comprehensive evaluation are directed to guide the development of a robust national action plan.
This is to ensure that Grenada’s immunization programme remains effective, efficient and capable of protecting the health of the population against vaccine-preventable diseases.
