Parents Urged To Get Their Children 12 Years And Older Vaccinated

Parents with children 12 years and older, are being advised to vaccinate their kids as a protection against COVID-19, and also out of concern that the new school term will be starting soon.

Advice from Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles.

He was speaking today at another in the government’s weekly post-cabinet briefing.

Dr. Charles says the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available for children at the specified 12 and older age group.

Dr. Charles says COVID is here, and, for the most part, adhere to the protocols, avoiding mass gatherings, among others.

Dr. Charles warns that households where there are elderly persons particularly with underlying medical problems must be on their guard.
