There’s a 2-cent drop in gasoline prices but other products like diesel and kerosene suffer a movement upward in the latest petroleum products price adjustment by the Ministry of Finance and Energy.

Gasoline in Grenada moves down from 13 dollars and 74 cents to 13 dollars and 72 cents; 13 dollars and 90 cents in Carriacou from 13 dollars and 92 cents and from 8 dollars and 42 cents in Petite Martinique to 8 dollars and 40 cents.

But, diesel on the mainland will now be sold at 12 dollars and 67 cents, 15 cents up from the old price.

In the Sister Isles, it’s the same 15-cents margin; from 12. 70 to 12. 85 in Carriacou and from 7. 20 to 7. 35 in Petite Martinique.

Kerosene in Grenada moves from 7 dollars and 1 cent to 7 dollars and 10 cents; from 7 dollars and 20 cents to 7 dollars and 29 cents in Carriacou and the same applies to Petite Martinique.

The price for a 20-pound cylinder of cooking gas remains fixed; 42 dollars on mainland Grenada and 37 dollars for the Petro Caribe cylinder; 51 dollars in Carriacou and Petite Martinique and 46 dollars for the Petro Caribe cylinder.

The 100-pound cylinder of Cooking gas moves from 183 dollars and 20 cents to 184 dollars and 70 cents on the mainland, while bulk will be sold at five cents more, from 1 dollar and 90 cents per pound to 1.95.

In the Sister Isles, bulk will be sold similarly, but the 100-pound cylinder moves up to 207 dollars and 70 cents from the old price of 206.20.

The new prices take effect as of tomorrow, under the monthly adjustment scheme by the Ministry of Finance and Energy.
