Grenadian Pharmacist, Lawrence Bell, charged on some 18 counts of sexual assault offences with a minor, has been allowed bail.
After being ordered on remand to Prison at his first court appearance Monday, Bell re-appeared today at the No.1 St. George’s Magistrate’s Court, before magistrate Teddy St. Louis.
Bell was arrested and charged last Saturday by officers attached to the Special Victims Unit of the RGPF, in relation to several sexual offenses.
He’s represented by Attorney, Anslem Clouden, who speaks about the outcome today.
The matter was scheduled for the St. David’s Magistrates’ Court today, but surprisingly things changed and left reporters and even the defendant’s counsel amazed.
As a Public servant, there’s the likelihood that Bell could be sent home on leave with half pay, until the matter is concluded.
