The Royal Grenada Police Force is investigating one of their own said to be allegedly involved in the tragic death of a woman on the weekend.
Information reaching Wee Fm News is that Betty-Ann Lambert, also known as ‘String Beans’, was reportedly hit by a mini-bus driven by a police officer.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was hit in the River Road area and her body was later released from underneath the vehicle at Mt. Gay.
The incident occurred 11 o’clock in the night last Friday.
Lambert’s death is registered as Grenada’s second road fatality over a 24-hour period.
Last Thursday a motor-cyclist lost his life after coming into contact with a Subaru vehicle, on the Woodlands main road.
