Police proceeded to Beaton in St David’s where they found the motionless body of a female, lying in an area close to her dwelling house. Initial observation of the body revealed significant blunt force trauma to her head.
The body was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
A postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
One man is currently in police custody assisting with investigations into that matter.
