The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) has been advised by the Meteorological Office at the Maurice Bishop International Airport today, Wednesday 9th November that there is an area of cloudiness that may affect Grenada overnight.
This means that there is the possibility of heavy rainfall during the night which can increase the likelihood of flooding in areas so prone.
In this regard, NaDMA is advising persons in areas vulnerable to flooding to be extremely vigilant and to monitor the situation carefully.
The weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight into tomorrow is expected to be partly cloudy, increasing in cloudiness during the night accompanied by light to moderate scattered showers and the chance of thunder showers.
