Preparation for the 2023 plant distribution season are moving ahead as propagators from the four stations work towards collecting the needed materials to have plants ready for plant distribution in June of this year.
Plant distribution is annual event by the ministry of agriculture where farmers and back yard gardeners can purchase economic and ornamental plants.
Propagation supervisor, Nigel Gibbs, says preparations began early September last year.
While the stations are said to be facing some challenges in getting the inputs needed for a successful season, Gibbs is optimistic that structures will be in place by June.
