Meanwhile Prime Minister Mitchell makes a plea to individuals who are in possession of illegal firearms to surrender them to the police.
Addressing media personnel this morning Prime Minister Mitchell commended members of the RGPF for their significant work in solving crimes.
The Prime Minister re-emphasized that it is in the collective interest of all to ensure Grenada remains is a safer place.
