Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, leaves Grenada today to attend the (G77) and China Summit in Havana, Cuba.

The two-day high–level meeting officially begins tomorrow and climaxes on Saturday.

Prime Minister Mitchell will join his regional counterparts and several world leaders to discuss geo-political and governance matters, with the theme focusing on current development challenges and the role of science, technology and innovation in the whole scheme of things.

Prime Minister Mitchell is scheduled to return to the State on Sunday 17th September, 2023.

In his absence, Minister for Finance, Dennis Cornwall, has been appointed Acting Prime Minister.
