Prime Minister, Dr. The Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell, says he was pleased to be present at the historic occasion in Barbados, where that country moves away from the fold of the British monarchy into a Republic.
He says it was a special occasion for him being a friend of Barbados and holds the desire that one day Grenada can follow that lead.
Dr. Mitchell says this idea will always have his support.
