Prime Minister, Dr. The Rt. Hon Keith Mitchell, supports the Budget addressing the plight of Grenadians facing what is now a new normal environment brought on by the impact of the global COVID pandemic.
He was making his contribution this morning on the 2022 Budget, which was presented by Finance Minister, Gregory Bowen, last Friday.
Dr. Mitchell praised the Budget presentation, which according to him, the Finance Minister showed empathy for the poor and marginalized that have suffered under the circumstances of the COVID pandemic.
Dr. Mitchell says, among other things, the Budget is meant to provide relief to the vulnerable who have gone through a plethora of sacrifices because of the pandemic, especially at a time of the covid economic hardship faced by the Government.
