Prime Minister, Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell, will embark on a series of town hall meetings across the country starting Tuesday evening.

During the sessions, the Prime Minister and his Cabinet colleagues will provide ministerial updates to the population while at the same time, allow attendees an opportunity to ask questions.

Speaking ahead of the first town hall meeting, Dr. Mitchell said, “It is important to have continuous engagement with the general public on the programmes and policies of Government. Ordinarily, there is a lot to report on the work of Government and during this particularly challenging time, it is even more important to have dialogue at the community level. I therefore encourage persons to attend and have their voices heard as we work together to further advance the country’s development.”

The panel for Tuesday’s town hall meeting at the St. Patrick Anglican School, will include Minister with responsibility for Needy Assistance, Uniform Allowance, Special Projects and ICT, Honourable Pamela Moses and Honourable Anthony Boatswain who is the parliamentary representative for St. Patrick West.

Members of the public who plan to attend, are reminded to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols – wear a mask and maintain social distance.
