Governor General Dame Cecile La Grenade will this Friday deliver the Throne Speech outlining the plans and programmes of the Government for the ensuing year, 2017.
She will make the presentation at the ceremonial opening of the fifth session of the ninth Grenada parliament.
In making way for Friday’s occasion, the Fourth Session of the Ninth Parliament of Grenada will be prorogued as of tomorrow.
Dame Cecile La Grenade has issued Proclamation dated November 24, in that regard.
The ceremonial opening of the fifth session of the 9th Grenada Parliament will take place Friday at 10 in the morning at the Grenada Trade Centre.
The Trade Centre location has been used for Parliamentary matters, following the devastation of York House during the passage of hurricane Ivan twelve years ago.
