Members of unions representing public officers marched through the city this morning still disgruntled and protesting over the 4% salary increase issue.
The matter is reportedly under mediation, as it’s been recommended by the Labour Commissioner and talks in this regard have been ongoing for 17 days.
GUT Leader, Jude Bartholomew, on the march this morning,
vented frustration over what he sees as lengthy negotiations.
Bartholomew, however, noted he’s adopting a wait and see approach, as it relates to the course of the mediation talks.
Another round was down for deliberation today.
