Public health officials from the Ministry of Health (MOH) are expected to wrap-up their two-day batch screening process at the Port Louis Marina in St. George’s today.
The (MOH) team which includes nurses, doctors and environmental health officers, began screening one hundred and twenty (120) “Yachties” on Tuesday morning as per Grenada’s Coronavirus (COVID19) Health Protocols.
Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Martin says all of the visitors are required to adhere to the standardized (COVID19) entry screening protocols which include registration, temperature checks and COVID antibody blood screening.
He says the visitors were given the (COVID19) antibody rapid IGG/IGM test and were all swabbed for PCR testing, and they are now to remain quarantined on their respective vessels for the next fourteen days.
