The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Religious Affairs hereby informs the general public that for the period Monday, November 21 to Friday, November 25, 2022, the General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department (A&E), will commence relocation to the first floor of the new hospital building.
As a result of this movement, the Ministry advises the general public that there will be limited services available at the present location, as medical and nursing personnel will be involved in preparing the new location. As such, the public is advised to utilize the services at the community level as much as possible. Please note, however, that emergency cases will be accommodated.
Health officials are confident, that the relocation to the new facility would enhance the working environment for the staff, improve the comfort of patients who will make use of the facility, and enhance service delivery.
