Mc Donald College and GBSS had big victories in the Under-15 boys’ division when the Republic Bank Right Start cup football tournament continued yesterday.
Mc Donald College defeated Grenada Christian Academy 7 goals to nil, while GBSS destroyed Westmoreland Secondary 6 goals to nothing.
St. Rose Modern Secondary School was also equal to the task defeating St. John’s Christian 5-1.
In other games, PBC Cannons got the better of Happy Hill Secondary Red Bulls 2-1; Boca Secondary beat Wesley College 2-nil; Westerhall Secondary Iguanas had a 4-1 win over St. David’s Catholic Secondary; SAASS and GSS played to a 1-all draw and St. Mark’s Secondary and Grenada Seventh Day Adventist Comprehensive were locked 2-2.
Those games were in the Under-15 division.
Today, there’s been competition in the Senior division.
Happy Hill Sec and Westerhall Secondary were on the fixture for the Beausejour Playing Field; Wesley College and Boca Sec at Queen’s Park Ground 2; GBSS and Beacon High at the Roy St. John Playing Field and St. David’s Catholic Secondary and J. W. Fletcher Catholic at the Belle Vue Playing Field.
