The Royal Grenada Police Force says it has cracked the Jonty Robinson murder case and charges are likely to be slapped on the individual in due time.

The Police made the disclosure at a News conference which was called this afternoon.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vannie Curwen, speaking to members of the media this afternoon.

The body of Jonty Richardson was discovered on the 18th of June, 2023, in sea waters around the area of BBC Beach.

Two autopsies were conducted, the first of which returned inconclusive, and the second with results released by Hubert Daisley on the 26th of June by a Trinidad and Tobago pathologist, found that Jonty died from “Manual Strangulation”.

Dr. Daisley is known to have been frequently called to Grenada to give second opinions on autopsies that have been found to be inconclusive by the local pathologist.

The case, surrounded by trappings of an LGBTQ nature, aroused public attention.
