The Royal Grenada Police Force hereby notifies the general public that Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edvin Martin, is presently out of state on official government duties, and has not abdicated his post as Commissioner, as is rumored.
Commissioner Martin flew out of the island this morning (Wednesday June 29, 2022), and is on official duties within the region and not North America as speculated. In his absence, Deputy Commissioner Michael Francois assumed responsibility for the Police Force.
Commissioner Martin remains firmly in charge of the RGPF and is scheduled to return on island at the weekend.
