One-Time House Of Representatives MP, Roland Bhola, is back in the Nation’s Parliament, but this time in the Senate, the place where he began his political career in 2003.
He replaces Kim George on the Government’s side, who rendered her resignation October this year.
George noted that that she resigned because of great demands of her profession as an attorney, which did not afford her the opportunity to effectively prepare for senate sessions.
Already, Bhola has received his instrument of appointment from Governor-General, Dame Cécile La Grenade, and will take the oath of office when the Senate meets Tuesday for debate on the 2021 budget.
During his tenure with the Grenada Government, Bhola, among other areas, had served as Minister for Youth, Sports, and Religious Affairs.
