As all of Grenada get into the Christmas spirit this week, the rotary club of Grenada announces extended opening hours for its holiday event, “Christmas at the Point” over the long weekend.

The holiday viewing of lights, which is held at Quarantine Point Recreational Park, got underway yesterday and will run though to Monday 27th December, and will resume Wednesday 29th December.

The park will also stay open longer nightly, closing at midnight.

Over the Christmas week and weekend, visitors to “Christmas at the Point” can expect to be wowed with the “Monica Benoit Magical Wonderland of Lights”.

Patrons can also anticipate a much-welcomed line-up of activities, including live musical performances by top artists; Holiday Boutique Store featuring local handmade craft; nightly movies; a fully-stocked bar; Santa in Santa’s Grotto; Snow Zone; Candyland; picnic zones; drink and food specials and much more.

Quarantine Point, according to a release from Rotary, offers a safe space for patrons to spend with family and truly celebrate the spirit of the season.

The Rotary Club of Grenada invites patrons to follow its Facebook and Instagram social media pages and Christmas at the Point event page for daily updates and surprise park highlights.
