The Ministry of Education has announced that school will reopen
on September 7, in a staggered formation according to Chief
Education Officer, Mrs. Angella Finlay.
Finlay was speaking to reporters this afternoon through a virtual
press conference where she outlined how the process will unfold.
Mrs. Finlay says during the rolling phase of the new school term a
lot of emphasize will be placed retooling curriculum refocusing
and teacherโs development.
The chief education officer says during the week of September 21
the nation’s students will return to the classroom to be assessed
academically.
