At a meeting of the Grenada Senate today, the Leader of Government business, Simon Steil, says Grenada in the sub-region is fortunate to have the services of the St. George’s University to best suit the academic, health and social needs of the country.

Steil was presenting a resolution that came with amendments to the SGU Charter, in which Grenada is expected to benefit immensely.

It’s understood that under the new arrangement, Grenada will benefit from a grant of some 30 million US dollars, which among other things, the Chamber of Commerce representative, Christopher De Allie, would like to see some money going to the Health sector and TAMCC.
