President of the Senate, Chester Humphrey remembering the Life and Times of Carriacou and Petite MP the late Elvin G. Nimrod, noted he’s a man who stood for the working class.

Humphrey was speaking yesterday at the joint Parliamentary sitting in honor of Mr. Nimrod, who died in the United States Saturday, February 6.

Humphrey spoke in glowing terms that Nimrod was a man who was fervent about the rights and benefits of the working class…a man who stood steadfast to the roots of the working people.

Senator Humphrey also recalled Nimrod’s role in the successful establishment of a labor desk at the CARICOM Secretariat.
