The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the La Pastora Water System in the parish of St. David that due to con tinuous heavy rainfall over the past few days, the Authority is currently experi encing challenges with movement of its distribution network at the system, ac counting for the current interruption in water supply.
A RESTORATION TIMELINE CANNOT BE PROVIDED AT THIS TIME.
LA PASTORA WATER SYSTEM serves: La Pastora, Petite Bacaye, Corinth, Westerhall, Fort Jeudy and surrounding communities in the parishes of St. David and St. George.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their three (3) day’s stored sup ply, taking into consideration the needs of your families and pets.
In the absence of a timeline for restoration, please also be reminded of the need to manage your stored supply.
The Authority will update consumers as to a restoration timeline once we are able to ascertain this.
