The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers in
Woburn, Woodlands, Grand Anse Valley, Mt. Hartman, through to Point Saline
and surrounding communities in the parish of St. George that the current
interruption in their water supply is due to a damaged water main.
Restoration is anticipated by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6th, 2020.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilise their stored supply, taking into
consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 2:00 p.m.,
some consumers, especially those in elevated areas, may receive their supply
within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers
for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and
reliable water supply.
