Sissons’ Sparklers reign supreme in the Gouytave Invitational Basketball tournament.
Sparklers defeated Southern United 82-69.
As usual, Elmond Williams ruled the court netting 30 points for Sparklers and executing 11 rebounds.
The heat was too much for Southern United.
Johnathan Williams bucketed 20 points for the Grand Anse outfit.
So Sparklers walked away with the grand champion prize.
Elmond Williams was voted MVP of the tournament; Simon Bell was the Most Defensive Player and Fitzgerald “Naka” Joseph took the “Best Coach” award.
The Tournament received main financial contribution from Dr. Reston Smith and supporting contribution from Ariza.
