Six Grenadians recognized by His Majesty King Charles the 3rd in his New Year’s Honours list.
And the 2023 world bronze medalist and a 2-time Commonwealth Games champion Lindon Victor is among the 6.
Victor was granted the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his outstanding contribution to sports.
Also receiving the OBE title was Leroy Joseph for his services to Policing.
Christina Batson is now a Member of the British Empire (MBE) awarded by the king for her contribution to Education while Mr. Neil Ferguson is awarded for his contribution to Culture (MBE).
Awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) was Mr. Alwyn Enoe for services to Entrepreneurships and the Reverend Dave King, Presiding Bishop, of the River Sallee Pentecostal Church/Temple of Deliverance, Grenada District For services to Religious Affairs and Social Work.
