SIX PERSONS AWARDED ON THE JUNE 2022 QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY HONOURS’ LIST

Grenada’s Ace Javelin thrower, Anderson Peters, and economist, Richard Duncan, are two of the persons among a group of six awarded in the June 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours’ List.

Duncan is awarded in the Order of the British Empire category (OBE) for services in the area of Banking and Peters, MBE, Member of the British Empire, the third highest-ranking Order of the British Empire, for services to Sports.

Also appointed MBE is Environmentalist, Dr. Valma Jessamy, for services to the Environment, to Manufacturing and to Eco-Tourism.

The British Empire Medal is being awarded to Mrs. Allyson Clouden for Services to Nursing; Mr. Desmond Gill for services to Fishing and Mr. John Wells for services to Farming.
