Grenada is going to showcase its carnival product in Tobago, where that territory will be staging carnival for the first time.
SPICEMAS CORPORATION (SMC) here will lead a 12 -member delegation to the festivity which runs from October 28 to 30, 2022.
It’s all part of a carnival exchange which was launched by SMC and the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) for the promotion of Spicemas and for Grenada, as a whole, during the 2022 carnival period.
The theme for the Tobago carnival is “Ritual Revelry Release”.
It’s branded as a liberating festival of cultural expressions and freedom from creative constraints, celebrating the emancipation of unbridled energy.
To compliment the carnival theme, the SMC’s delegation will showcase Grenada’s traditional Jab Jab, Vieux Corp and Short knee masquerades, along with the reigning Road March and Groovy Monarchs.
