Social Development Minister Delma Thomas made a clarion call to all Grenadians to join voices against domestic Violence and child sexual abuse in observance of National Colors day.
National colors day was an initiative of the Special Victims Unit (SVU) within the Royal Grenada Police Force.
The SVU is a sub-unit of the criminal Investigations Department (CID) is responsible for enhancing the holistic services provided to victims of Child Abuse, Domestic and Sexual Violence.
Minister Thomas in an address to the nation in observance of national colors day urges all to continue to play their part.
Speaking of the rise of incidences of sexual abuse, violence and the negative impact on society, Thomas encourages unity to help stamp out this social ill.
