Spicemas cooperation (SMC) is to have a new CEO after 10th March this year.

We understand that SMC Chief Executive Officer, Kelvin Jacob, who’s been with Spice Mas Corporation for the past 4 years, will soon be returning to his substantive position within the Ministry of Education.

REPORT:

Jacob who joined the Corporation February 2019 on secondment from the Ministry of Education has opted out of a contract renewal.

Reasons for him doing so have not been explained.

Informed sources have it that Jacob sent in a letter to authorities earlier this week that he does not want to hold the position anymore.

In a release, we are being told that the Department of Culture has received official correspondence from Mr. Jacob, and that he will officially depart the Corporation, effective March 10, 2023

During his four years with the SMC, Jacob is said to have built upon the past successes of the organization and worked diligently with his team to improve day-to-day operations.

Culture Minister Ron Redhead expresses gratitude to Mr. Jacob for his invaluable contributions to the SMC.
