A St. David resident has been charged with non-capital murder, arising out of an incident where a 62-year-old woman has lost her life.
The woman, Shirley Thomas of Marlmount, St. David, is said to have been struck on the head, sometime between September 11 and 12.
She died on Tuesday 16th September, 2019 at the General Hospital.
An autopsy determined that Thomas died from traumatic brain injury.
49-year-old Victor Creedland of the same area, Marlmount (St. David, is charged with non-capital murder in connection with Shirley Thomas’ death.
On account of the charge, Creedland will appear at the St. David Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
