St. George’s University School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) announces that its Bachelor of Science Honors program in Marine, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, has been accredited by the Royal Society of Biology (RSB).
It becomes the first program in the Western Hemisphere to obtain this distinction, further establishing the SGU School of Arts and Sciences as a premier higher learning institution in the Caribbean.
The degree program is housed within the School of Arts and Sciences Department of Biology, Ecology, and Conservation.
SGU’s Associate Dean of Administration, Collin Dowe, says it’s good news.
Dowe says Grenada is a unique spot in order to study marine wild-life conservation.
Dowe says it’s a wide-ranging program that students will find fascinating.
