After losing its first game in the competition, St. Patrick rebounded from their defeat on the opening day to beat St. Andrew yesterday.
Playing at Progress park, St. Patrick won by 2 wickets.
While it seemed that St. Andrew had a somewhat healthy 173-run total, St. Patrick got over the hurdle, losing 8 wickets.
St. Patrick allrounder, Rayvon Hitlall, won the man-of-the-match award.
He was instrumental in his team’s victory.
He took 5 for 25 in the bowling compartment and then went on with the bat to score 43 runs off 65 balls.
