The Government of Grenada congratulates Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, and the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) on a historic election victory and return to Government.
Prime Minister, Hon. Dickon Mitchell commended the people and institutions of theย Commonwealth of Dominica for taking part in the democratic process and the civility with which the elections were conducted.
โThe election of the Skerrit administration by the people of the Commonwealth ofย Dominica to an unprecedented sixth term is a resounding vote of confidence and indicates the peopleโs desire for continuity, especially against the backdrop of an increasingly uncertain global environment,โ Prime Minister Mitchell said.
The Government of Grenada looks forward to building upon the strong relationship ofย brotherhood that exists between the two nations and to furthering efforts towards theย fulfillment of mutual regional integration ambitions.
